Hi, I have just bought a 2006 Zetec and I'm really happy with it. The only thing I didn't do during my try outs when buying it was the cruise control and wouldn't you know it, it doesn't work! I couldn't see a specific fuse in the manual and all the other electrics in the car work. Does anyone know where I should start to look. It doesn't even activate. Any help is much appreciated. :togo:

Hi,
Is it still in the 3 year warranty? Did you buy from a dealer in a state that is covered by a statutory warranty period? There may be a diagnostic code that someone with the right equipment may be able to read. Good luck, MK |

sorry if this is asking the obvious, but did you turn cruise control "on" on the left side of the steering wheel first before using the "set" button on the right side of the steering wheel? It confused me at first.

In my case the problem turned out to be the switch coming from the side of brake fluid container leaking and causing the CC to not work. $23 part fixed it. Originally quoted $39 for the part but got it reduced.
