hey all about to change all the oils, fluids in my auII xr8 ute. wondering what
oils to use for engine, manual transmission, and lsd. anyone recomend any brands ? been told castrol saf-xa for the lsd. cheers Damo

I personally use LSX-90 for the LSD.

the v8 supercars used saf-xa oils in there lsd. so i assume it would be a great oil to use considering the amount of pressure and extreme racing conditons. thats why i asked for opinions. i open to try new oils. cheers slo au xr8.

I only use Penrite HPR 10 engine oil. I've never doen the transmission, so can't offer any recommendations, but when I replaced the diff oil with a synthetic type it started leaking after a few days.
Rang around a few diff places and they all stated that there are two different types of pinion seals, one for synthetic and the other for non-synthetic. It's been a while, and I can't remember exactly which one, but it was a fully synthetic Castrol lubricant.

cheers dw260. so does anyone else have any idea which diff oil to use dont fancy doing it twice.
slow au xr8 how did the lsx 90 go? no leaks?
