Hey all,
After a long wait due to lack of funds I'm finally getting my car back. If you don't all know I pulled the clutch cable through the firewall a while back and have just been to short for cash to get it fixed. Well, i will be getting it back this arvo all fixed. Also, just wanting to know if this clutch cable thing has happened to anyone else. Just want to get a few numbers to see how much of a problem this is. Thanks guys.

The firewall around where the clutch cable goes through cracked and pulled inwards. Kinda not fun.

I think its a common problem, the AU's had soft firewalls or something.

Good to see your getting your car back! It's not fun when something happens to take your machine off the road, it has happened to me one too many times!
May I just ask, when this happened, were you just driving the car normally? I understand this being a common problem with manual Falcons, or is it caused by more 'spirited' driving? I am guessing you got some sort of strengthening done with the repair? Evan |
