Default Cruise Control AU1->AU3

Hey guys,

I have a AU1 forte that was my car, til someone hit it; wrote it off and drove off. So i was left without a car and decided to use it as parts

I just bought an AU3 forte.

I would like to use the cruise control out of my AU1. Is it possible to just remove and put in the AU3?

I hope so!
Thanks in advance!

no series one electrics are different from S2/3 including the steering wheel control interface thats why a S2/3 radio won't work properly in a S1

Ahh thats a shame, no one knows if their possibly would be a way around it or too complicated? Looks like it would fit so easily too!

Oh well i hope i dont run into too many problems using my AU1 for parts... Enginewise it should be all about the same hey?

What about if i use my module and see if i can get the cruise control wiring from the wreckers, would there be a chance that would work to save money?

AFAIK the clock spring is different and the wiring by the time you muck around you are better getting a complete cruise conversion from a wreckers or fleabay
