hi all i have a ford au fairmont on gas it wont start after stopping at shops turns over but wont fire can hear solenoids clicking when putting ignition on. oil light water light petrol light and volts gauge all stay iluminated while turning over any ideas

Is it out of gear?
If it is out of gear, Try moving the shifter from P to N, then see if it will crank.. Just run it quickly from P to 1 then back again.. then try starting it in P and N If that works, then it's your inhibitor switch.. Cheap and easy part to replace..

tried it it n and p no difference still turns over and wont the inhibitor switch stop it from cranking

is it an egas, or has it had an aftermarket gas conversion?

dont all the dash lights usually go off when turning over the fuel light is staying on even though the gauge is reading 3/4 full

car has been fine wife said she jumped in tried to start it went to fire then stopped now just cranks over

Since the conversion, is it now only able to run on gas...
If so, does it automatically switch to petrol for starting... If you can switch to petrol, do so and try that... Cheers... |

got fuel in it? not uncommon for people to overlook stuff, i had a lady once ask for help with a flat battery, after dragging a booster battery and jumper leads 200 metres to her car, the woman had forgotten to put the tbar into park
