Some exper knowledge pls...
I saw a Mk2 Cortina advertised with *drum* brakes on the front. The brochure on this site (1968 model) says disc/drum arrangement. Did they ever come with front drum brakes, or this this just a typo in the advert ? Thnaks Allan |

Stretching the memory but I'd be fairly sure the lesser models would have been drum braked on the front given the era.

Hi. The ford cortina owners club website ( http://www.fordcortinamk2oc.co.uk/home.htm ) has a link to a spare parts spreadsheet and it only lists disc brake parts for the front and drums for the rear. The mk3 Zephyr that came out a couple of years prior to the cortina only had discs on the front so maybe ENFO just did things a bit better than us or the yanks. Cheers MD
