basially i havent used my au for a few days, and went to move it today, but when i grabbed the fob i noticed the little led was lit, and wont go out.
it also wont work, wont do anything. is this simply a flat battery or another issue? if its just a battery, will it need to be re-programmed with a new battery? and, just to complicate things, the door lock doesnt work off the key, so until i get the fob fixed i have no way of getting into the car lol. |

only a guess ,but i`d take punt one of the buttons is stuck on, and if it`s the lock button that is jammed/stuck on , perhaps that is why you can`t open the door with the key, if it`s the original fob it might be kaput, they are getting pretty long in the tooth now,
i reckon if you take the battery out of the fob, your door key might work/ open with the key............but i could be wrong . |

yeah, im still going to buy anther one to replace it with anyway, this ones broken off where the keyring goes and the previous owner (we will just refer to him as "the smoker') has drilled a hole through the casing and used some heavy fuse wire to attach it to the keyring lol.
also, after thinking how much i hate the au for last couple of weeks i put put it up for sale on friday, had a heap of calls, and two took it for test drives today. stupid thing is, after seeing it drive of i actually decided its not a bad looking old jigger so i dunno, might keep it yet. tidy it up a little maybe. |

Sell it ... and you'll regret it. One of the cleanest shapes among contempory cars and just never ages.
