Agreed, I use the ASL iPod/iTouch Charging Auxiliary Booster/Line Conditioner
The benefit of the one the OP mentioned is that when you are on a call that the persons voice comes through the car speakers. I have used both and the Charging Auxiliary Booster/Line Conditioner is great. Its very easy to put together, you just need to take the plastic off the side of the console by removing the gear surround. The undo the bolts, take the tissue box holder out, find the wires to plug it all together, put it all back and its done. About 30 to 45 mins to complete. A phillips screw driver is all you will need if I can remember correctly. |

No longer will you have to increase your volume to 20+ just to hear favourite music. Our kit has been specifically designed for the Ford BA-BF and Territory series vehicles which are notorious for having low output and engine whine. Features: Compatible with all ipod and iTouch, 30 pin ipod docking connection to retain digital sound quality, Charges all iPods and iPhones, Direct iPod functionality, 1.75 Metres Long, 5V Charge. Now with volume adjustment for optimal performance. Kit includes: Fitting instructions, Amplifier module, Wiring harness with iPod adapter. NOTE: iPOD'S and iTOUCH'S can introduce data line noise when charging - to ensure the best sound quality we have added a selector switch to allow the disabling of the charging circuitry when required. Not for use with iPhone. |

I replied to your pm but it didn't go through! The line conditioner was $119 including next day delivery and it works well with no engine whine or anything.
