Yeah, I know noone cares, but I'm bored!
I was working from home today, so needed something to help with the procrastination... Actually got around to fitting one of the things I have lying around for the AU, and naturally I chose the easiest, quickest thing to do! So, I did another one of my half assed mods - this time, an EF/EL fan belt cover - took all of 2 minutes to do. Here's some pics of my gutless, stock, dirty, oily 6 cylinder in all her glory! Decided I should clean the engine bay while I was there, so in pic 2 you will see the results of a dedicated 15 second wipe over with an oily rag...very nice. Before: After:

Its well worth while, certainly keeps it tidy. Mine weent on easy, except I snapped one of the bolts on the thermostat housing. And I have no easyouts. I had to pay a dude like 100 bucks to come and fix it.

Goes on easy as, just have to remove 1 thermostat bolt and replace it with the new bolt for the cover. I mainly did it so I don't lose a hand next time I'm in there with the engine running. I'm not too concerned about engine bay neatness as you may be able to tell!
