Not too shabby looking, even if it is ridiculous to call it a stock car:

That looks awesome...but why dont they use a 4 door "shell"..would it really be that much different?
I love those rims though, they would look hella tough on a GT..yellow writing and all!

Photo from the front looks more Aston Martin than fusion IMO!
Nascar finally moving forward and ditching the carbs?

NASCAR is awesome, you either get it, or you don't! They produce the best racing on the planet, period, and that is what it is all about.

Same with the grill, when you're doing 200mph on an oval, a grill lying on the track from a love tap would be a worry.

The car looks tops!!! The fusion is one of the best looking fords for a while IMO. Like other people have said, its just sad that the cars have nothing in common with the cars they are supposed to be. V8 Supercars is heading down the same road its just taken them a little longer. |

(Or maybe I'm confusing that with the death of the Monte Carlo. I'm not a Chevy fan.)

Are you Australian fans of NASCAR familiar with Bud Moore? He was an engine builder/team owner from the '50s through the '90s, and by the mid-'60s he pretty much exclusively worked with Ford/Mercury.
He ran the Mercury Cougar Trans Am team for 1967, and was a serious threat to Carroll Shelby's Mustang effort. Ford wouldn't let Mercury race Trans Am after that. Moore then had a Mustang Trans Am team for '69, as did Shelby. For '70, Ford let the Shelby team go and kept Moore's team. Parnelli Jones won the championship driving a Bud Moore-prepared Mustang. Moore pretty much singlehandledly brought small-block engines to NASCAR in the early '70s. When NASCAR started requiring restrictor plates for the Aero Wars cars like the Torino Talladega and Road Runner Superbird, Moore discovered he could make more power with a 351 Cleveland than with a restricted Boss 429, and the Cleveland weighed less and didn't use as much fuel. He's a fascinating guy, but unfortunately there's no place in NASCAR for people like him anymore.

Really freaky proportions on that car. I prefer the ones with real bodies that they use for Grand Am or USRRC or whatever they're calling it now.
