Aw, the blue oval fell out of the steering wheel.
The guy who owns that car signed on to CrownVic.net recently.

My query is how can he be driving a Ford Crown Vic left hand drive legally without the car being more than 30 years old?

The Crown Vic was the last traditional American full-size car, with rear-wheel drive and body-on-frame construction. It interested me because it was a mix of old and new, sort of a refined simplicity. There's nothing really special about it, and it doesn't really excel in any particular area (except trunk ... er, boot space), but it's a durable workhorse. And technically an individual isn't supposed to be able to order a Police Interceptor from the factory, but I found a way to do it, so then I felt like it was an opportunity I couldn't miss. Stock power is adequate (mine is better with the added supercharger), ride is adequate (but nice on interstate highways thanks to the long wheelbase), handling is pretty good (but the chassis is hilariously slow to react), and braking is impressive for a car with such mass. Even though they're ubiquitous here, the car always attracts attention at shows.

I just plain like the car, its got that classic american car look, sounds good and looks fun to drive.
I would love to drive a RHD version over here but unfortunately i have not had the chance.

I found this car on Carsales a couple of months ago, thought it was a fake but it is true. Something about American police cars fascinates me.

It's got a cop motor, cop tyre's, cop suspension, cop shocks............
and it's the model made before catalytic converters, so it'll run good on regular gas.

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's the model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
