I have access to a couple of cars on dad's farm. Just wanted to get a couple of ideas on what you guys think of them, and if it is worth resurrecting them.
First is an XD/XE that was his farm hack for a few years. It was running, but not very well. It was only a 6 pack. Second is a XC I think. This may have been burnt judging by the deterioration of the interior. The last one is a Holden. It is on it's roof, so I flipped the picture but it now looks confusing. I'm not familiar with Oldhens, so can someone ID it please. |

I think I'd be walking away from all three mate. There may be the odd part on the first one that could be salvaged but the others are pretty much gone by the looks.

without being unkind, they are not unique & you could pick semi decent ones up or near to nothing, but if they have sentimental value & you have deep pockets, why not

The third one is a Ford Zephyr or Consul.

It depends what you want to achieve. As resto projects they are huge amounts of work and as stated can be done cheaper by starting witha better base.
However if you were to do a radical custom, pro street or race car, all could be bead blasted and start again. my 2c

sad to say but as the others already have said.
mother nature`s recycling system has got to them befor you have. especially the XB ute and the old zeph. although they might still have a couple of bits that could be saved. the first one is a XE i think. looks like the bonnet folds down over the front with a small grill ? it might be worth draging out of the long grass and cleaning the rubbish out for a better look.

1955 Zephyer is interesting, could be good for parts. things like light surrounds and door handles would be hard to find.
While the panels are shot...having the chassis as a starting base is helpfull. The white ute is and XF not XE

White utes an XF , as mentioned above
You can buy complete running ones for a coupla hundred at best , can even source the later XG utes with the 4L OHC donks and 4 speed autos for way under a grand The XB ute , maybe worth the doors for a coupe owner, the rest scrap The zephyr has seen better days , and not worth a great deal ebay would be the first port of call, maybe make some money ??? (not much) Or load the lot on a trailer (few trips) and cash for scrap at sims I think some scrappies are even pickin up and paying money nowadays Walk away , morso run a mile |

Looks like an early 50's Consul or Zepher or Zodiac all very similar.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/peter_b...n/photostream/ IMO they all look stuffed. The money & time required to save them would far outweigh what they are worth. Unless there was a significant sentimental value to them, I'd pick another project. |

What they said.
Great OP, but none of these are rare or classic enough to warrant the work. A restored XB Ute would be nice, but I’m sure you could find a better example to start with. |

Maybe a make a BBQ out of the XF ute front end, shorten it a bit, or just keep using it for shotgun target shooting, I see it has a few pellet bruises.
Glass and doors worth salvaging and the centre caps on the wheels are always worth a few dollars, badges are always good to pry off too, especially if the Zephyr still has any.
