Hey,
So I've seen a few falcons with an overflow bottle cover and battery cover(black coloured covers). I'm just wondering where I could buy such items as I'm looking to make my engine bay look more cleaner. Cheers |

I've seen that on a few cars I just can only find this picture which is similar enough. Also I've seen a battery cover which hides the battery and just exposes the terminals. makes it look much cleaner ! |

My AUII Ute has the battery cover. Email Darren at http://stores.ebay.com.au/Adelaide-Parts. He will know.

Hi
Stumbled accross Darren when I needed a c0ilpack for my AUII. $159 from Adelaide Parts, more that twice that from the local dealer. Been using him ever since. Very knowledgable and happy to make suggestions. Like when I asked for a thermostat gasket and said one or three?

Aftermarket?
The battery cover is clearly visible in illustrations Alt001 on page 89 and Co013 on pages 98 and 100 of the Factory Workshop Manual; I have one on my AUII Ute and the coolant bypass hoses clip into the cover.

No probs, I tend to think you are right about the coolant header cover though but said nothing because I don't know for sure.

I've seen the overflow cover on a few cars. Dunno who makes em which is why I'm asking to track the source. I don't think the battery covers are factory, the box is though.

Alex is wanting a show type cover, that covers the battery completely, so you can ONLY see the terminals...Not the black plastic box that the battery sits in, and is factory.
Ford never released the EF/EL/AU with a cover over the battery. Kiwi you are mistaken |
