Yes A ''cat-back'' System Would Work Ok.

$1000 for paccies, high flow cat and cat back system is about right. Use exhaust places against eachother.. tell them I got quoted $1000 from so and so, what can you do, and go back and forth till your happy.

Depends what your aiming for. The extractors are where the power increase is mostly made and the catback is where the new sound will come from aswell as a slight power increase. Alot of people do get just a cat back and then the extractors at a later date but if you can afford it you may aswell get it all done at once

1000 sounds reasonable to me
i got charged $1460.00 for paccies 2 1/2 inch mand bent exhaust and stainless tip.
they used my original xr6 cat too.
btw the tip was $140.00 itself.
the pacemaker headers weren't 4499's either
:(

I just got a price for Advance headers, $520. and magnaflow cats $385, sounded a little pricey to me. So $1000 that sounds decent, I'd do it.

Give Miami Mufflers & Brakes a call, 21 Christine Ave Miami, 55763511. Speak to Ian who is the owner operator. He is the most honest exhaust/brake mechanic on the Gold Coast...He won't rip you off, does good work and is easy to talk to and very obliging. All you've got to lose is the cost of a phone call, but you have everything to gain.
No, I haven't got anything to do with his business, but I have two sons that have had exhaust systems fitted by Ian, to the various cars they owned over the years and have always been happy with the result.

Ashmore exaust are a little pricey because they have a big name around the coast but they have a big name cause they do a good job. 1000 for all that is pretty reasonable. I paid 650 for the one on my mrs car its paceys and 2 1/2 mandrel bent but just standard cat.

To suit what car? A rolls royce? A 2.5" mandrel cats back is around $400, and fitting is less than an hour, so say $500 all up, and that's absolute top price. Unless it's a twin 2.5" for an XR8, then $850 is around the money - still expensive, but not over the top.
