Can anyone direct me to where I could read up on swapping an old V8 for a modern 5L. I vaguely remember reading somewhere recently that it is not as easily done as it once was. Could someone please tell me where a thread in here is on it or another website?

You have to comply with emissions regs for that motor(stock motor/ECU)to get passed.

There has been a 5L into an XW on the Projects pages, at least a year or more back. Its on here somewhere, he had dramas with the computer chips from memory.
