Is the 298kw / 380nm only for the ICE or is that a combined output with whatever electronic drive system in place I wonder?
The first paragraph leans towards engine only output, then the 2nd paragraph can be interpreted as a combined output. Micra GTR anyone????

Who says you need displacement to make power
Nice work Nissan, to last the endurance racing it's going to have to be reliable.

Or easily replaceable - at 40kg, it would be a simple out with the old, in with the new pit stop.

This is quite impressive, good power from low revs, delivering economy. The fact that it weighs little is impressive enough. Always someone lurking in the shadows to try and knock the shine off the Rising Suns achievements...

Pretty cool! Would be nice to see it in a small road going car!
298kw is a fair bit of power although for comparison most 1L 4cyl road bikes are making around 200hp/150kw these days.. and thats NA too... fun!

Ive got similar sized 1500cc Rotax n/a engines in my boat, they put out 155HP each. the supercharged variant is 215-260HP.
less power I know, but they dont have a Turbo as big as the actual engine bolted to them. Would love to know what Pressure they are running
