As the title suggests can anyone recommend a friction dash mount for a garmin 2797 7.0" gps or any other solution?
Really don't want to be glueing anything to the dash and don't want to mount on the windscreen with a suction cup. |

Clicon do great mounts for phones and GPS units, with several location options for Falcons and Territorys. You have to buy the Dash Mount unit first, then buy the holder for your phone and screw it to the mount. I've had a Dash Mount for 3 different phones now - a TytnII, a Samsung Galaxy S and currently a Samsung Galaxy S4. The current S4 Holder I have is the best I've seen, with built-in charger and it holds the phone even with the phone case on it.
Be warned that it's all very pricey, but I've been using them for years and they have been well worth the price in the long run. The BA-BF alone has 4 different mount types, so you should be able to mount a bunch of stuff either side of your ICC. http://www.holdmyphone.com.au/ Lukeyson
