Default Looking at a MK2 2012 Focus, need help

Hi all.

First time post here.
I've been looking at picking up a 2012 S focus, but want to know why there is a difference on the trip computer.

The first pic is from a June 2012 built and the second is from a Dec 12 Built.
I like the extra colour on the Dec, so can this be updated via software etc on the June built?

There is also a subtle difference on the temp gauge.

Sorry for the long first post.

Cheers.

Jonno.

I think that you'll find that the top one is the German built one and the bottom is the Thai built one. When Focus production went to Thailand there were minor changes made.

Well, my decision has been made for me, because the newer one has been sold.
Are there many other differences between the two models?

Nah, both petrol. From what I can tell it is just the date on the compliance plate that is different.

Obviously, Ford changed the display in the last 6 months of 2012.
