first time going on this magnificent site. I have an EA speedway car half finished. bought a BF mark2 engine, question is will it fit the EA (clear the front end of the sump). Will a 5 speed 1996 gearbox and flywheel fit to the back of this BF. Am I doing the right thing by running a BF wiring loom with factory ecu to match all standard. Can anyone else tell me if I will encounter any other modification/problems (engine mounts)??

It depends what division you're running in. Now, things may have changed since I was a scrutineer in the late eighties, or when I read a spec sheet a few months ago, but the engine must match the model for modified production and street stocks. Outlaw classes (not national affiliated) are another mater.

Plenty of people done this change, so have a search (link is under the "Welcome, kakoschke" box).
What I remember though from reading other people's jobs is that there is something to do with the E-series K frame and the B-series sump that means it won't fit without modifying the K-frame or grinding the fins off the B-series sump. Don't hold me to that, but see how you go with a search.
