My series3 air-condition switch has imploded and was hoping there is an easy procedure to change it other than finding a special tool to remove the radio etc.
Has anybody had to do this? is there an easy way? cheers |

There is no "easy" way. you have to remove the head unit and then remove the whole centre dash section. It comes out as one from ash tray to clock. There are 4 screws behind the head unit and 2 behind the ash tray. Once removed the entire section unclips from the dash and then you'll be able to remove and replace the whole A/C/fan/heater switch block, (all 3 are part of one module).
