Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows where to buy these hardware kits locally for the PBR C4 caliper pictured below. Same caliper as EL GT, Fairlane by Tickford, AU premium brakes and T Series.

Give him a day or few.
Matt is I would suggest the most responsive & eager to please sponsor that I have dealt with on this forum. Queried him over a few things over a few years & when it came to actually needing to purchase an item he always came good with good pricing & prompt reliable service. ....he is no relation or kickbacks just good service..3 times now & more into the future |

VN group A, sv5000, several others, and the VN-VS HSV premium brakes also use these calipers, and the pins & clips are always hard to find. It would be worth someone stocking them locally in Oz, as there's a market for them.

Bosch acquired Pacifica Group including PBR brakes in 2007. So if you contact Bosch they should be able to advise you on availability and retail outlets. Or click on the dealer locator at the top of this page: http://www.bosch.com.au/en/au/startp...andingpage.php

Cheers guys. I ended up contacting him through Facebook.
Everyone so far doesn't stock them. Would have thought someone would stock them given they've been on a few Australian cars.

EBay USA is your best bet. Dunno why, but that is the only place I could find them over the last few years. Just watch the freight cost.....

For future reference. rockauto.com have some great options and delivery is usually faster than Australia post interstate.
Cheap brand, Centric, contains the rubber pieces to go inside the anti-rattle springs. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=1736&jsn=1069 Motorcraft brand, to get good quality pins and springs. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=1736&jsn=1075 If you have a rattle over bumps that goes away if you touch the brakes, get three 1mm M8 washers (preferably close to 17mm outside diameter) and a 0.6mm thick waved or curved washer for each side. Fit two flat washers and the wave washer on the outboard end of the pins and the third flat washer on the other end, for the (not optional) benefit of the e-type circlip that holds it all together. |
