Hi guys and girls,
I'm curios to get a status update on my new car. I have a vin and SIDO just wondering if I can call ford direct to actually see if the thing is built? I appears that they arent really updating their online dealer database as my dealer can't confirm the car is getting built? I quiried them about the email thing some guys have been receiving from ford and apparently this is mostly a metropolitan dealer thing. Cheers Ryan |

Hi Ryan
I called Ford customer service in early January about my XR8 order/ contract I have with my dealer and asked if they could shed some light on the allocation process. I was asked if I had an order number, which I don't, they told me they couldn't do anything about it as it is between me and the dealer. As far as I know the SIDO is like an order number, give them a call you've got nothing to lose. Mick |
