Didn't know where to post this or if its been posted before.
Elders 4th June in Geelong, 200 cars, most stored in sheds. Looks like there's plenty of Ford cars and trucks. (damn, no Louies) http://www.elders.com.au/livestock/s...detail?id=2483

G'day roKWiz and everyone. I'm actually running this auction - have previously posted in the Barn Finds Are Still Out There Thread. Feel free to ask any questions here, but please have a look on the website first. Most of your questions will be answered there. I am meeting with the vendors this week and will be posting more pictures and details on the website.
It looks like this will be closer to 300 vehicles. As a bit of a car nut, walking into these sheds literally took my breath away. We are getting a lot of enquiries from all over the country - I spoke to blokes from 3 different states today. Should be a great day out and we are working hard to make it a great success for our vendors. If you can make it to the auction, come and say g'day. Look for the fat 50 year old bloke in Elders get up running around like a headless chook barking orders: that'll be me. Cheers, Julian |

I was at the site today and discovered a couple of gems: 2 mainline utes, an ex-army xb ute, an xm/xp ute and wagon, and a total of 5 xw/XY ex army utes. For the Holden lovers, there is an ex army EH sedan, a HK wagon with custom back, and a very neat HZ sedan, among others. Photos will be added to the website very soon. We will have viewing available on Thursday 2nd June and Friday 3rd June from 12-5 pm, you can also register at these times.

Straight as a die, 280,000 Kms showing, 253, 3 on the tree (I think) exterior and interior condition very, very good, only thing missing are the external mirrors. I would imagine that very little work is required to get her running and roadworthy. Fair bit of interest in it as you can imagine. Should be some good photos of it (and a fair few others) on the website very soon.

Phildo, click through the website in the first post in this thread. Plenty of photos there.
LyleXR8, the WB ute is a four on the floor. Photos uploaded today show how good this ute is. |
