Default Anyone getting Xmas presents for their car?

Getting any mods or accessories you've been wanting to treat yourself?

Maybe you are tired of the socks and jocks the kids normally give you, so you've put in requests from your favourite auto store.

Maybe you prefer surprises under the tree instead.

I shouted the FG to new tyres this Xmas and asked kids for auto gift vouchers which always come in handy for cleaning and detailing supplies.

What's on your Santa list this Xmas?.

Not really presents as such, just a whole heap of major maintenance supplies (and some time off work to do them) like a gearbox filter change & flush, air/oil cooler fitment, new headlining in 2 cars etc etc.

Bought my wife an expensive Christmas present for her car though.... but it will make her life far more comfortable, so it's worth it. Happy wife = happy life!

Santa's bringing me a light bar kit for my wagon so i can keep skippy off the bonnet when i head out of suburbia on camping trips.

The lads bought me a nice leather steering wheel cover as the factory wheel has done what factory wheels do and i hate the feeling of it in my hand...the wheel that is..lol

I also have a new 7 pin flat towbar plug with the built in Anderson plug to finish off my install.

And my gift to the old girl, a full detail this evening and if weather permits, a polish and wax tomorrow.

Thats it for xmas, but early in the new year i've set aside enough to throw a set of leaf shackle bushes in her, reset the rear springs to suit towing the van and an inch or so lower and a new set of lowered front springs as it's looking a bit old man emu on the 18's.

Then i'll probably trade the bloody thing on a Ranger this time next year, which i'll transfer the lightbar and plug over to, lol.

New proper Mustang Gt lower grill coming from the USA when Santa has time to throw it down the Chimney. Will make the front of the car look like the US spec cars.

I cleaned the carby by driving the Fairlane to work today. Air plus fuel is a good combination.

Damn it, looks like I'll be giving one truck a new windscreen. Well in the New Year anyway.

Got a couple of Navman Mivue 780 Dashcams for both our cars a couple of weeks ago as early Xmas gifts.

My car is going in for a service on Friday too if that counts.

My car "strongly suggested" that I buy it a new alternator today. It did this by running out of electricity an hour from home.

The joys of motoring.

Changed the oil, oil filter, leads & plugs on the wife's subaru liberty 2.5 n/a. Discovered the plugs on one head (boxer engine) were swimming in oil. Looks like gasket time maybe. I wonder if that will get rid of the check engine light

My daughter received $200 for christmas and is putting it towards buying her Focus 2 new rims, 2 new tyres, a wheel alignment and donated $100 to a towing company.
Apparently showing her friend where another friend lives was more important than watching where she was going and ran straight into a kerb this afternoon.

Ahh, the Joyous season, parenting brings such joy.
