So I was checking spark on our AU XR6 VCT and this weird issue revealed itself.
The car starts and idles fine, maybe not 100% smooth but pretty close. I put a timing light on the leads and it appears that cylinders 1, 2 and 3 are firing at approximately double the rate of cylinders 4,5 and 6. I've changed the coil pack and it's still the same. I've asked a couple ford mechanic and they agree its weird. Has anyone come across this before? Has anyone done this test on their AU? |
