Default Defi gauges

Hi guys n gals,
I have a defi ZD gauge installed into a falcon I purchased and wondered if anyone might be able to help me with the setting up,If you live in Perth.I’ve looked at the instruction booklet but I must be dumb as all the things it’s saying don’t match the unit I have:// it’s wired for oil pressure, oil temp and water temp at the moment. My mechanic told me all the connections are installed to fit said gauges/measurements.Didn’t fancy paying $130 an hour for him to set up the gauges if he even knew how too.
I turn the car on and the temperature of the water and oil are in the high 60s straight away, surely that’s not right after 2 days without use.Needs some calibration I’d guess🤷*♂️ Totally lost, appreciate any help.

Did they come with senders or are you trying to intercept the factory sender signals? If you installed senders for the gauge specifically where are the senders located? Are your grounds all ok?

senders already installed.mechanic checked them whilst having some other work done. The unit and all parts were installed by previous owner and appears to work as in everything comes up when the keys turned but the alarms set go off within minutes of starting.Temps already high on start up,temp gauges sky rocket even though the dash temp sensor says low. That's why i thought maybe the initial set up hasn't been done or calibrated.I do disconnect the battery when i work away long term so maybe that's caused it,

Could it be calibrated in Fahrenheit ? 60f is only 15c.
