My 7-Eleven. Lets you lock in a fuel price for 7 days, and then you can use it at any 7-Eleven. Saved heaps doing it.

I am in Victoria and use a combination of Petrol Spy, Motor Mouth and the RACV as my car is dedicated LPG.
The main issue with LPG the apps are not accurate with LPG sites having shut down they list low prices for these sites. There is a 7-11 St near where I live that stopped selling LPG took about half a year before the apps stopped listing it. The 7-11 app and website kept listing LPG prices. I emailed 7-11 a couple of times and the usual bulltish response thank you for your email we will respond in so many working days but no response absolutely useless. |

Re Petrol Spy not being accurate I have a suspicion there maybe people deliberately entering false prices.
In Oakleigh South in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs there is an out of the way Service Station, A One Fuel that historically has had Cheap Fuel. A few times I have checked the prices on Petrol Spy and they are listed as dearer than other nearby Stations. As it is only a short drive from the Office I go there after work and have seen the prices are cheaper than on Petrol Spy which shows the prices were entered a few hours ago. I have asked the console operator have the prices dropped this afternoon and have been told no. |

Agree with this one.
We have a Caltex near us that can sometimes sell 98 for 50cents a Litre less than other Stations (Shell, BP, Caltex). Last week when others were selling at approx $2.20 / Litre, this particular Caltex was selling at $1.70 / Litre. Well worth checking the App.

NSW government one. I think it's compulsory and I haven't seen it wrong yet.

i use the 7-11 app.
I have one close by. It searches a radius from where you are and finds the cheapest 711 price. You can lock it in at the cheapest price and use at any 711. Also, grab a Costco membership (If you have one close by). 98 going for 95 prices here in newcatsle. |

I have used Petrol Spy for many years now.
Only thing I absolutely hate is the North always up (or whatever it is called) map. I really with they would update it to display the direction you are driving like a navigator. Hate trying to get my head around trying to drive towards a place that appears behind me on the map.
