Default Wheel alignment correction query....

When wheels with a bigger offset (40mm+) are fitted, should the wheel alignment specs change to accomodate how the steering and front suspension behaviour changes?
I've noticed on 100 series landcruisers the steering tends to pull to whichever side you're turning when you get closer to full lock, and the tyres start wearing oddly compared to before the offset change, so I'm wondering if this is something that can be corrected with modified wheel alignment specs

In theory no, because the suspension isn't changing at all. But you can manipulate the wheel alignment to correct issues.

But someone might suggest otherwise, I don't know.

Offset changes the scrub radius. A small offset has little affect, but large offset, which 40mm would be approaching, would have some effect.

As well as the extra stress on the components.
