For those of us who like a beer. It is interesting to note in the last decade the huge increase in micro breweries. Anybody have a favourite micro brewery the wish to mention?

My own. We've been brewing for the last ten years. It helps that the Mrs is a chef, she's the mastermind although I've had my first go at growing hops this year.
Our favourite brewery though would be Rocky Ridge based in Busselton WA, good to hear they're expanding and opening a brewhouse in Perth, quite close to us. I recommend the Red IPA.

I've tried a few of the "micro brewery" options, but my experiences with them were soured by a particular socio-economic group on an overseas trip back in 2016....
Sadly, my go-to mass-manufactured beer has recently plummeted out of favour due to the parent companies marketing strategies, nevermind the irony that when the US based parent company sold the licence to Carlton-United, the bottle size & alcohol content decrease meant the standard drinks per bottle went from 1.4 to 1.2.... Yep, for all the years where Australians have made fun of American beers for being weak, it took brewing the stuff in Australia to make it weaker.....
