Very popular and successful Premier of N.S.W.
I wonder is Canberra's top job calling?
Good luck for the future for him and his family.

Carr has done more damage than the vandals, he can be remembered for his services to employment of spin doctors and the Environmental Impact Study industrustry.

THe whole scenaria is remeniscent of events in Victoria when Joan Kirner was handed the role of Stunt Premier after the damage had been done and that state was near bankruptcy. The situations are amazingly similar.

Only when bob hands back the services of NSW-1 and has the opportunity to utilise his lifetime free public use of public transport will he truely grasp the damage he and his team of blow-hards have done!

A bloke call Carr who cannot drive one has to be suspect in my books, Bus & train for Bob, couldn't happen to a nicer rat-bag.

Does this mean the tollgates are going??? I remember this as one of his finest election promises.
Now here's to hoping he suffers like the rest of us public transport users :evil3:

Just got this one in from work.

From: Col Gellatly [mailto:Col.Gellatly@premiers.nsw.gov.au]
Sent: Wednesday, July 27, 2005 11:45 AM
Subject: PREMIER'S ANNOUNCEMENT

The Premier has announced that he intends to resign as Premier. The ALP Parliamentary Party will elect a new leader who will then be sworn in by the Governor as the new Premier.

The effect of the resignation of a Premier is that commissions for all Ministers lapse, and consequently a new Government will need to be sworn in. The allocation of portfolios will be a matter for the new Premier.

Premier Carr remains Premier with full authority and power until he actually submits his resignation to the Governor. CEOs and public servants should continue to carry out their functions as usual.

Col Gellatly
Director-General
Premier's Department

There's a bit of a rumour running about that he has been offered a position with GMH. With the demise of the Opel Omega, Holden is on the lookout for a replacement Carr.

Am I the only one here who thought Bob was alright?

Praying so very hard that we dont get Scully as the replacement. Never met such a halfwitted, sleazy little ***** in all my life. I cant STAND that guy, thinks he has the answers to everything - would make a good HWP officer until someone ran him over.
