I went last night to the Melbourne NIN concert at Rod Laver Arena.
Since we had general admin and we thought there would be a line so we lined up early around 2pm. Gates opened at 7pm. Anyways it turned out the line wasn't big and after being screwed around by the security guard got in at 7 and were 4 rows from the front . The band opening for NIN were some qld band i never heard of, it was their first time performing a gig like this. Anyways they had some probs with their equipment. Not good, cause the crowd gave them heaps and they ended up walking off after being on stage for 20min. NIN came on at 9 and they put on a great performance, it was flawless. The crowd was rough but not as rough as i thought, i ended up being draged back to about row 10 but still i could see. They played a good 2 hr set and really i would love to see it again. The sound was great too, very bassy but the downside was it wasn't loud enough, i didn't leave with ringing ears hehe. Jeordie (sp? well for marilyn manson listeners he is aka twiggy ramierz) played an awesome bit of bass i can't remember the new guitarist name but he was a little to much of a hero. but all good. Rod Laver was PACKED IN. I didn't know that many people were there but i looked around during the show and the stands were packed as were the 2 general admin areas So if anyone in Sydney and Brissy has tickets for the show you will not be disappointed. Have fun.

With Teeth is probably my least favourite track off the new album. Right where it belongs is great though - a similar effect on you as Hurt. Right where it belongs deserved to be in that playlist
