Default All the best to XR8Chic (Kelli)

I would like to wish Kelli a farewell as she is leaving us here in Sydney and moving down to Mexico it: to live and work.
I hope it all goes well for you down there Kelli and hope you enjoy the change of lifestyle, And the bloody strange weather they have down there : .

But I would like to thank you for everything you have done for Cara and Myself, like rebuilding my computer so many times as I kept on crashing it : . And I would also like to thank you on behalf of the FPV-TICKFORD club of NSW for being there and helping out with everything you have done over the years you have been with the club.

Well anyway I had better finish up this post and get my *** over there and load this bloody truck so we can get you down to Victoria. I shall see you soon.

thanks guys.

I made it down in one peice, although the trip did take a bit longer than planned due to a 6 hour stop over at goulburn after I had a puncture at 2am right at the canberra turn off. (Reminder to self - Dont pack the spare tyre in the removalist truck next time) Grrrr... Wasnt impressed, as they are the brand new 17's I got only 7 days earlier.

Stretch - thanks soooo much for everything with the move. I hope you and cara liked the chockies.

Minge - I am somewhere north west of melb. (ask clayton, he has a better idea than me.. he is the one that had to give me directions to get here)

BlueHoon - NO!! I dont have my turtle yet!!! When I was oran park the other week, Filthy Monkey, and B1B promised me I would get it, but no turtles yet!!
They better have it ready by the time I fly up to get my XR8 in 2 weeks.

Anyways - I am off to work now.

Nick - hahaha funnily enough, your not the first person to offer to drive it down. My XR is actually being baby sat by a forum member at the moment. I told him I measured the tread on the tyres, so hopefully he will behave himself.

BOSS - I plan on coming up still for the occaisional drive day at oran park, or skid pan day at the creek, its a good excuse to come up and visit my family anyways.

Suckies - yep, I will be at the FPV day.. although, not sure which club I am going to join yet.

Stretch - The truck made it in at the same time as me!! seriously, I was right behind it for 2 streets. (Not a bad effort considering they left 3 hours before me, and didnt have a 6 hour stop over) Got here just after 4. Had to wait a bit for the keys to the house to turn up, and then they were out of here by 6:30 I think.

Anyways - I still got more unpacking to do, but at least my ADSL is alive and well (yay!!! got connected yesterday, a lot earlier than expected... they told me the 6th of Sept)

Hi Kelli - it's mat from SA
Jason & I (falcon car club of SA) met you during FPV weekend this year at the ST GEORGE motel/hotel
Shane (MR LANDAU) was with us as well.

Sorry I haven't been in touch, all the best and we will see ya at 06 FPV day.

At least your closer to us now, hope the car's paint hasn't been messed with again by so called pro detailers.

Take care

Hey Mat!! I plan on going over to SA at some point. Now that I am a lot closer, I am gonna go over and visit a few mates one weekend. Plus, the motor I am planning on buying is over there.
Dont ask about the XR's paintwork at the moment. It was FILTHY last time I saw it. but maybe some kind nice person will drop it off at the detailers for me.

Dave - I still gotta find sandown!! hahaha. I dont know where there are any tracks in VIC. that actually reminds me, I need to post off my cams licence upgrade (Yay - I passed my assesment)

Anyways - I am going to try and defrost now.

Best green ED XR in the club.
woohoo...

Seriously, hope things go well for you down there.

Your now committee member 3 (correct me if I'm wrong) to go south.

You could have left your car at my place.
I would not have driven it.
I may have borrowed some of the parts though (box, diff etc)

Again best of luck and we look forward to seeing you at the FPV day

Hey Chris,

Yeah I think I am the 3rd committee member to move south (Jeff, Mark, and now me) what can I say - I guess the jobs are better down here.

hehe. lots of people did offer to "babysit" my car, however I know I can trust Mark (MrJucy) with it.. I mean - my car is nothing compared to his, and the boy really knows how to drive!!

Anyways - my XR is finally down here. I drove it down last night. I even got a new spare wheel and tyre for it yesterday arvo (didnt want a repeat of the last time I drove down)... However, that didnt stop me running out of fuel 1km before the servo I was headed to. Luckily that wasnt too bad - Brad came to my rescue with a gerry can full of premium.

Maybe thats a sign that my cars down want to be here in the cold and rain.

Umm, lets see... how is it here??

Been here for 23 days, its rained everyday, at least once a week it hails (the small mushy stuff), and its freezing!

But other than that its cool.

One of my mates just sold his falcon and bought a new commy. I told him that Holden was evil, and god will punish him for doing it (jokingly of course). The next day, a lady ran a giveway sign and smashed his car. Working on converting him back to ford now.
