First of all get your spelling correct, romour(rumour) no(know) quater (quarter) ture(true) .
No wonder our kids seem to be in trouble with the standards of the education being taught.

John, you have no idea how bad it is. There are kids out there that could not do the math behind 7 divided by 5. That sort of level means you cannot ask "do you want fries with that?" because you cannot work out numbers to press on the register.

Anyway.. yes these are the new ANDRA rules or whatever they are. If you do some research you will find more information about this on this web site.

While I agree entirely with your sentiments here John, we must not single out people on there inability to spell.

Some people are just to lazy to get it right, some do it on purpose, while there a some just plain didn't learn.

Tolerance my Wise Friend!

What would happen IF, say the last time you raced, you got a time of 12.what-ever, went home, spent some big $$ and raced again.
This time you rip a 10.999999* and DO NOT have a roll cage, harness etc.
Is there a Penalty for that?

Rob

But to answer the question, yes I have heard it true and I dont think its such a bad idea.

How cops will enforce it is another story.

You guys forgot to mention that if you break into the 10's, you must also have a ANDRA license.
If you break into the 9's you need a Parachute.

Send Calder a email asking what their new regulations are.

Its not a bad thing at the end of the day, IA 10s street car with no roll cage is just silly

I also heard a rumour that if you drive your car to Calder, and it runs under 10seconds you get a Red Canarie and have to trailer it home.... could be BS but thats my 2 cents

Your actually meant to have a ANDRA license when running 11's. A chute is required when your car is capable 130mph, or 140mph if the car has 4 wheel brakes and 200mph or more will require you to have 2 chutes or the class you run in is capable of 200+mph..

4 point Harness required at 11.99 or quicker or exceeding 110mph.

at WSID my mate ran 11`S at half throttle and started off with some chassis twist. He owns an LJ supercharged. They said to him no more racing..His car is street legal and also has it on the bottle. made 784 horsepower on the dyno at the august power cruise.
