i had a look at the ones on the site, i dont really think that one is very good, as the amp in it is only 35w*4, i would rather go for one of the other ones that are 45w*4 and also have all the lines out for amps.

my mate had issues with a pioneer indash dvd setup with it hitting the bit that sticks out..
he ended up having the headunit out about a cm, and made up like a little trim piece so it didnt look dodgy.... this allowed the screen to come out and be dead upright.......not entirely ideal but it works ok for the money, that unit you liked to looks quite allright.... just setup some amps for ya speakers though, as mentioned its a bit underpowered in that regards ( although 35x4 was fairly up there just a few years ago!) |

It should be fine. Many motorised in-dash players have a slide feature that lets you adjust the amount the screen sticks out. It should also have a tilt feature so you can adjust the angle of the screen fowards and back....it'll memorise the positioin whenever you open the screen so it doesn't hit the dash.
I wouldn't worry too much about the 30WX4.....it's peak power anyway, the difference between 30W and 45W peak is jack ИИИИ when you talk in watts RMS. Might be like 5 WRMS difference. |
