Smile 'Twister' Brand coming to Australia & New Zealand

Hi, (I'm new at this so please bear with me)

Thanks to Russ, for giving me permission to introduce you all to the 'Twister' Brand, currently our products are not available in any store in Australia or New Zealand, I am looking for stockists/distributors should any of you be interested, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Our first product is called: 'Twister' Spoiler Silicon Wiper Blade, with a 3 year manufacturers warranty. It can withstand temperatures between -30 and up to 120+ degrees celsius, it has also been tested to withstand wind speeds up to 300km/hr (but please I recommend you don't put it to that test ;) )

It has a unique feature, which sets it apart from anything else currently on the market. The hydrophobic feature works like this...as the blade wipes it puts an invisible thin layer of silicon fluid onto the windscreen, works like water repellent type products. So when you drive at say 80km the wind just blows the rain away. It has a large air spoiler which helps the blade conform to the shape of your windscreen.

(You no longer need to buy refills/glass cleaners/and no need to use any extra additives in your water reservoir, just pure water, as it's all built into the blade)

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I look forward to your comments, cheers

Jane

Wow!!! I certainly wasn't expecting that kind of response so quickly
Our wipers come in 7 sizes from a 15" up to a 26" they are not the cheapest, but they are the best. For eg: 15" RRP $29.80-26" $42.80 you need to measure your current wipers as the drivers side is usually larger than the passengers.

I have a shipment coming in from Singapore (where they are manufactured) however, I need stockists, or if you got together in a group then perhaps I could do it that way...will get back to you on it though.

I haven't even approached 'Ford' or 'Holden' yet with these, what do you think? Later (if I'm allowed) I'll tell you about 2 more products, and tell me what you think, okay???

Thanks

As you guys would be aware we wouldn't normally allow posts of this nature but I have made an exception in this case as the product concerned is of general interest.

I'm happy to canvass the idea of a group purchase if there is enough interest.

Cheers
Russ

It does sound like a very valid product, quite often a week or so after washing the windows the windscreen does get a bit hard to see through in rain and the main problem is the water staying on there or the blades not properly wiping it. Happens more so on older cars with older windscreens, my work ute has it shocking

and so the dust then nicely sticks to the windscreen, right?

...ahem...no, hehe

However, it would be recommended that you at least wipe your windscreen free from dirt/dust etc 'before' you put your new wipers on ;)

cos it sure sounds like that, which would mean you'd have to do it every time..

heh.

I am making completely valid points.

I would not buy a product like this.

if some of you want to try them, then go for it.

but, if he can't answer the questions, then, yeah.

...No, you don't need to do it every-time, and you don't 'HAVE' to wipe your windscreen free of bugs/dirt/dust etc

However, the warranty covers the blade from tearing; ripping; cracking or sticking to your windscreen and that you get a crystal clear view (ensuring your windscreen is free from oil/wax/grease/indents holes and the blade is free from accumulated dirt/debris)

Just general maintenance, if your blade accumulates dirt etc just wipe it off, that's it...

I use Rainex, and BugOff, so how would your products benefit me? Also, how well does it live with salt? I live near the Pacific Ocean, so I get some salt build up on the car.

Yeah, I already said to Russ that I'll send him a set to trial, and I want an HONEST opinion, I've already sent samples to Newspaper Editors here in Aust & NZ; Magazine Editors; Radio Stations...I'm still trying to get onto 'Today Tonight' 'Extra' 'Sunrise' etc so I can do a brief demonstration, so consumers can see an instant result...

I'm sourcing every avenue I can to get this Brand Name known...it's a big job, for one person, to get the word out to 2 countries....

Google is your friend.
These wiper blades look similar to the ones fitted to the new Ford Focus, are they the same thing?

Sorry Paxton, in answer to your question....you will not have any problem in regards to salt, etc our silicon blades offer thermal stability, weather ability, hydrophobic and hydrophilic surface properties, excellent release, including lubricating characteristics.

In addition, it is also unaffected by Sunlight (UV), extreme temperatures (-30°c to 120°c), acid rain, oxidization, moisture, washer fluid, road grime and various chemicals. It is designed for extended durability and high performance.

Similarly, the shape of the blade is crafted to eliminate fine lines and improve wiping performance.

This design of wiper blade is what's fitted to the new Focus.
