Icehouse - Man of colours
Evermore - It's too late Green Day - Good Riddance Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton Stairway to heaven - Led Zeppelin All songs that I have heard in funerals (with the exception of Evermore which was a favourite song of a friend who died) they affect me big time and some I can't even listen to. |

I actually never realised that particular remix was 9/11 related. It is truley a top song that very moving. The flash clip was bloody awesome. Did make me shed some tears.
Another sad song that comes to mind is Miss You Love - Silverchair. Im not to aware if there is a deeper meaning but i usually play it at least twice a week.

some rubbish by Dashboard Confessional or some other crap emo band.
but that is just a stereotype. the saddest song would HAVE to be something classical. for sure.

Its not the "9/11 remix".
Its actually called "candlelight remix" someone has just used it to make that cos its a nice sounding sadish song. Either way it was fairly well done. |

Check out the cover of this song that Johnny Cash recorded just months before his death. I wouldnt call it the saddest song, but "I was only nineteen" by Redgum, is BLOODY MOVING and probabarly ONE of the best and most genuine songs to ever come out of this country. Mike
