I use that Turtle Car Wash and Wax. I dunno if it's as good as using actual car wax after washing it with normal car soap.

I take my to a hand wash place, wouldn't ever go through a auto wash thing. Generally get it washed once a week, and because I get a car allowance through work, it's mostly tax deductable...

I usually do mine every two weeks its usually really really dirty and messy. Thats why i dont see any justification on doing it on a weekly basis its just a waste of time and money. I usaully park the car close to a tree (as it my parking space) and it does get its fair share of dust but its not a motivation to start cleaning it everytime it gets dirty as i know its gonna get dirty the next time i drive it.

Yes, but your car will stay LESS dirty. I remember I got heaps of Comments on the Fiesta's colour.... even more so now too!

I just love the idea of keeping my car clean. I never EVER see my car get dirty. I sometimes even clean the alloys more often then the car... JUST so it looks clean!

I think the location of where you have your car determines the likley hood of it getting dirty. Ie no room in garage, no room in car port oh wait room in the driveway YES YES YES. at work its the same thing. I hate it when it getts dirty, but thats just the way the cookie crumbles (insert jim carey) so i ant crying about it.

There is nothing a clay bar treatment + some elbow grease wont fix.

No excuse Damo - my car is outdoors allllllllll day at work or uni, except at night went it sits in the carport!

30-45mins a week is just enough to see my car clean. I just love the idea of leaving a new car... and also the idea of walking up to a new clean car.

It sounds like we are in the same boat so to speak but 30-45mins hmm thats for a quick clean or a full clean??

Also when people are saying once a week are they talking about hand wash at home or going to a car wash place?? Just curious, cause i for one would never ever take my car for a wash anywhere else then my back yard. I think peeps are throwing more money down the toilet that they realise : .

Um, Damo once a week I WASH the car. Once a fortnight I vacuum the car. Sometimes it goes to a handwash/cafe when I'm working a lot and can't be bothered getting out of my suit to wash it!

When u guys wash it once a week would you wash it even if it still looks spot less? Fair enough my car only comes out 4 -5 times a week and 90% of the time undercover but mine stays clean for atleast 2weeks (even in rain) and even then its only dirty in some places (like the bottom half of the doors).

I always go to a car wash cafe. Can't really do it at home coz of very cramped parking in my units.

Brake dust or dirt at the bottom of the door. Also, the rear hatch (with all hatches) acculumates dust. When it does... time for a wash! Usually it happens after 350-400kms of inner city driving
