Yesterday was hopeless, i started work at 7.30am and the sun was starting to creep out then the fog came back over and stayed all day, 7.30 seemed the warmest part of the day!

Friggin freezing, bring back summer!

Coldest start to winter since 1985. June 1st's top temp of 15 degrees is the warmest it's been so far. I left for Fiji on June 2nd, and came home yesterday wishing I'd never left!!!

In the Alice, we have zero degree nights at the moment and about 20 degree days. In a month or so it will get down to about -5 but we should still have 20 degree days. And it is sooooo dry. Sore dry throats and itchy skin is prevelant at the moment. I pity all the campers at the finke Desert Race at the moment. Thinking of competing next year myself. Will be in the old fart class. :yeees:

I work at a Pizza Hut in Geelong, we have a Spotlight store right behind us, and when you went out the back door the other night, you couldnt even tell there was a store behind us from all the fog. It was so bad, you couldnt see anything, driving home I thought this is going to be horrible, but when I got to Belmont is was relatively clear, it was kind of strange since I was getting sms's from my mum and partner to tell me to be careful becuase it was so foggy there. I hate the cold.

When I was in Aberdeen, I believe that it was the first time ever that I saw snow at the beach! I couldn't believe how cold it was over there but over here, those sort of tempretures only exist at altitude. It gets chilly here in Orange, its only one of a handful of large towns in Australia where it will snow every year.

Just checked weatherzone & it's -1 at the moment (mid NSW), but has been -6 & -7 nights & 16 - 18 days , but ......... we've just had 2 days of rain that makes 6 rainy days since January , crazy , winter time & we're still in severe drought.

Been frosts here 3 days in a row except for this morning cos of overnight rain, the days have been averaging around 12-14 degs. Its not good when you get up in the morning and pinch the wifes hair drier for a quick alternative to a heater!!
Can't wait to get back to Perth this xmass, although I might not come back to vic this time round.
