I had a couple of globes blown in my instrument panel. So i took the oportunity to convert them to green high intensity led's.
I searched around and found this hell good guide on how to do it. It took roughly an hour. It was real easy. Here is where u can download the guide. so what do u reckon |

This is an awesome mod.. looks best when the odometer and trip computer (on high series) are done as well. If someone was doing this mod an chargin 100 bucks id get one as soon as i could.
But i must say i prefer the blue... |

I think the green led's match better with the herritage green paint on the outside of the car. So blue just wouldn't cut it.
It only cost 25 bucks, green high intensity led's are far more expensive than the blue 1's |

Looks pretty sweet man. I wonder if there is any way to change the colour of the digital trip meter?

yeah i thort of that too. but i think with the orange tint the lcd display has the green light might just show up brown or just be too dark.

Im pretty sure its just a coloured sheet.. and yeah green would match your car but mine is silver with a blue an black wheel an the rest of the highlights are blue. It probly is cheap but im not 100 percent on wiring leds yet. will have to sit down an try it soon. plus i have no idea where to buy them which ones etc. I did read the guide that was on fordmods that seemed pretty good so ill have to have another look at that

That looks awesome. Makes a big difference. Do you have the footwell lights on a switch for when the cops are around? Or is it tuned to your head lights/Door lights??

In the Repco's here in New Zealand you can buy leds already premounted in bulb holders so you dont have to do any work at all. Just plug them into the bulb sockets. I noticed them on the shelf when I had to change out the bulb in my auto shifter.

the leds in the footwells are the ones that plug into the cigarete lighter socket. all i did was cut the plug off and wire it to the battery with an inline fuse about 20cm from the battery. then wired them in parallel with the negatives earthing to the car body.
For the dash i looked at the redymade leds from repco but fond they were too big for the bulb holder in the instrument panel. Plus it is easy to follow the guide exactly. |

Looks good, but you gotta do the rest of the lights now, and find a green light stereo.
And I hope you're gonna get one of those led tailpipes....in green of course.
