Default Outlook question

Just a quick question with this program...

Is there anyway you can add spam sending domains to a blocked list?

I'm sick of having to add individual senders to one list where I could block a whole domain.

Have you done up Windows/Office/Microsoft updates for this proggie? If you keep the 'definitions' up to date (at least monthly), the Junk Filter will pick up most of them automatically.

Probably not. I should do it though.

Funny though how they can get it to stop spam from one individual user, but you can't block an entire domain.

Tools -> Options

Click on Junk Email Options

Click on the Blocked Senders tab

Add *@thedomain.com.au and @thedomain.com.au

Should sort it out

I use Mailwasher Pro with Outlook 2003.

Have you tried Mailwasher? It's an excellent program that allows you to blacklist, bounce and delete rubbish on your server.

Yeah, I have very little faith in spam blockers. That's why I use mailwasher... you have absolute control on what gets through and what doesn't.

I was told to use mail washer by someone else once, but forgot about it till it was mentioned here today e

It's more a case of sometimes it won't block all unless you use the * (* in computer terms being a wildcard, meaning anything)

Tech Support in me is coming out again
