Yeah I know it. it's a really early Peter Weir movie. Made in early 70's on very small budget. Think it's regarded as a bit of a cult classic these days. Thankfully Peter moved on from here.

ooohhhh this could be fun- I think it makes it better when it's not supposed to be or has no excuse for being bad. For example Hollywood movies with big stars that suck is probably better.
Last man standing with Bruce Willis OMG Donnie Darko man that was crap The Forgotten with Julianne Moore- WTF Of course there are movies that never stood a chance with no stars and low budgets- understandably they's be crap.... Just some that I can think of right now

Just thought of another couple
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow with Angelina Jolie The Net with Sandra Bullock It's so hard to pick one with so many contenders EDIT My wife thinks Evil dead 3: Army of Darkness is the worst movie ever. Granted it's not Oscar winning stuff but isn't it funny that BAD movies become cult movies? I piiss myself laughing every time I watch it "well hello Mr Fancypants" "Shop smart, shop S-Mart"

jimt3te50 honestly, are you sure someone's not putting the wrong DVD into the wrong case? You're listing some pretty decent movies here!
Donnie Darko? It's one of the best movies I've seen, possibly THE BEST! The Net? Sandra Bullock was great eye candy back then! If we're going for "Worst Movie" title, I think [insert any Vin Diesel movie title here] would certainly make the shortlist. |

Forget the name of it but it was filmed around the 70's and all it was..was a truck chasing a car for 120mins...no dialog...just a truck chasin a car...without doubt the worst movie ever.

I had heard great things and that's why I watched it, but it was pus IMO The Net was probably the first movie I ever fell asleep in and I am a huge movie buff- got a collection of over 500 DVD's and these are not in my collection. I never fall asleep during a movie- I will watch a movie from start to finish no matter how many times I've seen it and never fall asleep. But I know the grand daddy of worst ever movies- 3 little words LEGALLY BLONDE 2

I hate anything with Diesel in it, as someone up there suggested.
I hate the Fast and Furious movies. I hate full on chic movies (Maid in Manhattan or whatever it was) I hate lame comedies... give me good European humour over US stuff, even Aussie stuff isnt bad I hate cheap Aussie movies I hated Zoolander, but now I find it quite funny for some reason... I never liked the Batman series Hated Moulin Rouge I like sci-fi, action movies (good ones), I like Bruce Willis and Tom Hanks (generally). My fav sci fi series (not really movies) is Babylon 5, and I also love Matrix and similar. Also love Pulp Fiction. Not into horror movies much, they are boring. I actually like some of the animated CG stuff too, like Bugs Life, Antz, Finding Nemo and even Lion King.... I think I just have varied and strange tastes! LOL

Gremlins....."absolutely shocking load of rubbish", I had to endure sitting through it as the young lady I was with wanted to see how it ended...."I just remember thinking "you've got to be kidding!!!"......for me it ended about 10 minutes into the damn thing, all about furry little creatures that take on human characteristics etc....terrible terrible movie, Steven Spielberg to thank I believe,.......the best movie on the other hand imho, Alan Parker's The Wall released in 1982, Bob Geldof playing the lead role to the brilliant soundtrack by Roger Waters and the Floyd bunch, absolutely amazing stunning movie, both in it's audio and visual content, a must see for everyone in my opinion, very thought provoking stuff, even today nearly 25 years after it's initial release it's still just pure genius personified.

I would be one that says Evil Dead 3 rocks... Granted the humour is on the basis of pure stupidity, but for a good laugh with no meaning to it what-so-ever, put it in the dvd player, crack open a coldie and sit back... As far as worst movies ever, my ex happened to bring one of her favourites over for a movie night which was called "The Date Movie" with Alyson Hannigan (Alyson should have stuck to re-runs of buffie or the american pie movies) - then the ex topped it off by making me endure yet another one from the pits of the dung heap, Bird Cage. And she wonders why she's an ex... :

Duel is a classic, You need to re watch it.
The Postman - What the hell was Costner thinking, total crap. Waterworld - More Costner "brilliance" Munich - Spielberg really lost the plot on this one, one of the most boring movies ever. |
