It could be really well done if you spend the time, money and effort. I say go for it!

Wow, thats really different, you'd get fuel ecomony other mustang owners could only dream of. We used to own a 64 mustang 260 V8, the thing drank like a fish and was barely more powerful than an old six cyl XF falcon.
But theres one thing it did have and that was a beautiful V8 note, It was not a performance machine, rather an awesome cruiser, it just made you want relax, take it easy and listen to that fantastic burble.

six cyl mustangs never seem quite right to me. If you want performance and fuel economy get a worked V8 and put it on gas, then you'd have the best of both worlds, cause as awsome as a turbo 6 mustang would be performance wise, it will never be cool, and you just know most people will say, 'cool car, but shame its not a V8'

Yer this car is getting around town here. I think his daughter wants it but she doesn't have the money to buy it. If its the right fella they call him mustang bob i think. It would definetly be something different. Not really my cuppa tea. Would much rather a V8. I'm sure you could turn it into something special with a few dollars though. Maybe different colour, big set of wheels, custom interior, rrs suspion.
