I saw a photo of the interior of an AU, but the woodgrain part of the dash wasnt woodgrain it was just black. Is this custom or is it in certain models? Is it possible to buy this part because I dont like the woodgrain, it doesnt fit with the rest of the car.
Thanks |

The Fairmonts, Fairmont Ghias and Fairlanes all came with the woodgrain, the only one's with the same layout but a different finish were the TE50, TS50 and TL50, which had a carbon fibre finish in a grey colour. To buy these bits from the T series would be ~900 dollars IIRC from Ford, or they come up on ebay periodically, last one went for ~$250. You can get it modicoated the same as the T series for $200 which includes coating the auto gear surround and looks awesome I reckon.
