Are the engine mounts the same between the 1.3, 1.6 and 2.0 litres escorts? Are all the engine conversions available for the 2 litre the same as those available for the 1.3 litre?

Yes, all mk2 escorts have same engine mounts so yes 1.3, 1.6 and 2.0 will fit in any mk2 escort (ie no engine mount modifications needed)

Early Escorts had a rectangular rubber engine mount while the later cars had a round rubber mount. Pinto (2.0lt) are different to X-Flow (1300/1600) Try and match up your existing mounts with a new poly mount. For the same of $80-90 its well worth buying new as the original or 2nd hand mounts are usually pretty shagged and are only good for moking up.
