That is not very professional. Why would you leave the bolt there? What would you say if that happend to your car? You would be on here whinging. I hope the guy brings his car back and you do it right.

heh my mates dad went to get his car serviced, came back with a new battery, coolant changed, no new oil in engine or g/box.. all for $800.

in the end, he only got a new battery (that he didn't need nor ask for) & new coolant.

So many dodgy people hey :P

Thanks for the info... you can keep your hands off my Fairlane... I'd rather fix panel damage with a blowtorch than let someone with no pride in their work near it...

Not smart at all to name your place of employment in a thread then start another thread saying they are dodgy...

Must be like the shop a friend of my wife went to for an oil change. She told me she paid TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!! On a Chrysler Minivan!!!!

They told her they had to "flush the engine oil out" and "it uses special oil".

Like I told her. 30 bucks max. She's a smart cookie though, told her hubby when he griped "Next time YOU take the stupid car in!!".

Lots of dodgy characters over here too of course!

I know of a worse place... my g/f had a accidnet in her car (a ks verada), 70kph impact, bent the chassis rails.... got replaired at a reptuible crash shop down south (adelaide) and well, they relased the car... with BENT CHASSIS RAILS! Still bent back over 1 1/2"! there was $10,380 damage on her car and it was insured for $12,087 and SGIC repaired it... so a extra bolt rolling around isn't goint to affect the peformance or the saftey of how the car holds up, comperd to a bent chassis rail.
