Default Electronic Ignition

Hello,
I have been looking into electronic ignition for a 2ltr Pinto.
Pentronix (part ignitor 1847V) has my interest at the moment, but in their
catalog, it lists the ford escort 2000cc engine as years 71-74.
It does say for a bosch distributer.

The only 2000cc engine for escorts would be the 2ltr Pinto as in mk2s, would
this be right?

In that case would this be the right part?
Has anyone dealt with this product and know if it's the correct piece/is it any good.

What other electronic ignition have people used/recommend.

The reason i'm looking at the pentronix brand is for price, and ease of installation (and that it sits in the distributer itself)

Look forward to replies,
Thanks,
James.

(Might have a look at small fords day as well at people's engines setups)

Another good one is the Mallory Hyfire VI. 9 programmable functions including 2x rev limiters. They are fairly expensive though (about $550 for the module alone), but you definately get what you pay for. I have just bought the Hyfire VI, haven't hooked it up yet but from what I've heard they are fantastic.
