Gotto your local court house and see what needs to be done, if not ring the law institute and get someone names that specialises in your area.

There should be a fair amount of stuff online too!

ring the legal aide mob they are usually pretty quick in helping out. but other than that i cannot help you. the only thing i would suggest if its in regards to a restraining order extra, then you have to go to the police first then they file or have i got that backwards. i dont think you should wait much longer mn i really think you need to start with either a restraining order against him so that he cannot have contact with your kids. try the police and see what they say.

I already have a AVDO that has been going for almost 3yrs ... the cops just cant seem to find him to serve it :(

I have today got onto a solicitor who has promised to help me but I need to wait for the legal aide forms to go through ......... could take a few weeks apparently.......

So much for the legal system helping with urgent cases ......

Will keep you all informed of how I go

Thanks for all the wishes & advise

They can serve them at a work place easy enough, he has to goto work if he has a job that is.

Anyway I am sure you dont wish to pour out all the details on a public forum, so good luck with it, maybe the FF Lynch mob can help :

So obviously the job is cash in hand, otherwise yout tax file number will give you away, the employer has to tax you, tip off the tax department for an audit, they will find him in a flash i am sure ......... LOL

Lisa;this begs the question as to how he is getting the hundred points needed for opening bank accounts etc. Hopefully you may be able to think of any AKA's he used before or might use,has he had drivers licence's in different names before or did he tell you his real name? I don't know if any of this will help I'm just trying to think like someone on the run and trying to hide from their responsibilities. As for the FF lynch mob I hope you are just venting your spleen, because believe me to go thru with it will land you in more trouble than him and might even curtail your liberty for a while. I know ,been there done that, good luck and stay cool, use the law to your advantage it may be slow but eventually the truth will win.

Yes John .... the Lynch Mob thread is definatly a venting proposition ........... There is NO way I could afford a little holiday c/- the Dept of Justice ... My kids need me & he would get them if I was that silly ......

I am led to believe, actually it has been confrimed by the police that he did in fact have a name change curtesy of the police in payment for all his druggie mates names .........

Feels like I am slamming my head against a brick wall & has done for the last 3yrs ....... but it is amazing what a few days can do to let the old grey matter start working again ........

I am going to cover all legal aspects & watch him suffer when he has to pay me all the backpay & ongoing maitenance that is due..........

Look out Sprint & Terry ....... here I come ;)

Lisa; I hate to say this but it sounds like he is in a witness protection programme, from that I don't like your chance's of getting anything out of him,if anyone gets close they will move him on. Unless he ceases to be useful, then he will be on his own, then you might stand a chance.

John, That he was ... was, being the operative word ;)

This is why I know I am going to be sucessfull this time ....... It is just very frustrating waiting for all the legal mumbo jumbo that is attached ............. 3 weeks to get paperwork to trace a phone number ....... As I told the police today ..... he will be long gone by then ........

Thanks for your concern John ....... I wouldnt say exactly things have been sorted .....

As at today I have found out From DOCS that he refuses to have any councelling or Drug tests to prove his supposed 'cleanness' .............. So their take is the same as mine ...... He has no right to his daughter as such ........

Unfortunalty I am fighting a loosing batle with the Legal Aide lawyers who all believe that even with the proof of what he has been & seemingly still is ..... a drug user who has drug related phycosis ...... he apparently still has the right to have his daughter ......

The battle continues ........................

Well things so far are still at the stalemate .........

At least she is still at home but now refuses to go to the elite school she worked so hard to get accepted to ...... she is enrolling in the local school here ......

We have our good days & bad ones .... which I know is perfectly normal in a household of teenagers .......

Lets just hope that it stays like this till shes about 35 :p

I have a mate who is a NSW Family Law Barrister & his wife is a Family Law Solicitor (yes, they met opposing each other in court!). The wife is looking after their three kids at home at the moment. I can get you the details if you need.
