Default electical problem? locks dont want to lock?

hi all, i bumped underneath my das the other day and my knee grabbed a few wires.. but only for a little bit.. i looked under ther and everything seems fine.. but my cars doors refuse to lock when open now..Also, i dont know if it is associated with the same thing, every now and then while driving the car, it will ssought of pulse forards and backwards while not under acceleration.. if this is happening, i will chuck it in neutral and the idle goes crazy, and the engine will stall... does anyoune have any ideas of what these two things could be and if they are related, that would be great...
Cheers,
Nathan

Nathan, this question is best suited in the Electrical section. Your second questiion needs to be in a different section also.

1. Check fuses and the wiring that you kicked.

2. Check for vaccuum leaks.
