I noticed yesterday coming home that the speed cameras on the ringroad are missing. Does anyone know whether they are being upgraded to the same type as on the Princess? If they are....well...our trips might take a touch longer now...

cameras on ring road have been down for like a month.. where have you been lol?
when i went up to winton .. i see the speed cameras but stupid me didn't realize they were time over distance?.. lucky though.. cause as i passed one, i sat on 120ish accidently.. cramp or something :P.. but managed to slow down before the next one... never got a fine.. any ideas? maybe it wasn't working then? |

Yeah the revenue raisers are putting up big ugly Gatso-style cameras. Quite a few have gone up this week.

if you don't speed the cameras make no difference to you whatsoever, that being said I hate them too

Driving through ring road yesterday and there are new cameras altona bound in the first two original locations.
Yes they are big Gatso style cameras. Big rectangular boxes with two little circular holes, one bigger than the other in one corner, and still coloured the same colour as the bridges they are perched on to blend in chameleon styles. Hopefully they are not D/T and hopefulyy they weren't on yesterday. The rest are still just brackets with a jumble of wires hanging off them. |
