Default Windows Media Center edition 2005

Hi guys,
I am looking at installing Window media center edition 2005. Does any one use it and what do you think. Where the best place to find it _2:

Hey, i hmm obtained it a little while ago, but had nothing but problems with it. Its two disks but yea the first time i tired, reformated and everything installed first disk, didnt even ask me to put in 2nd. Windows stuffed up, next time tried again it asked me but the cd 2 was corrupt. so after all this i had to go put XP back on. so just be careful wat u download

Windows Media centre requires pretty specific type hardware , and the drivers for the hardware need to be installed in a specific order otherwise it turns pear shaped pretty quickly.
Check the Hardware Compatability List first to see if your present setup is up to scratch and maybe save yourself a few hours of formatting and pain.
Its good when setup but a bitch to get it there..

Thanks for the info.

Is there any other product that you recommend for a TIVO type setup. I want to be able to record all motor sport without haing to remeber to record it. I keep missing RPM and F1.

A TV capture card...they're programmable and cheap.
